As many of you are aware, I’ve been spending my summers working for iD Tech Camps at ASU, UC-Irvine, and most recently Princeton. It’s been a beautiful fit with freelancing during the Fall/Winter/Spring. As of December 1st, I took a full-time position with iD Tech Camps. Now the job that I loved in the summer is my year-round gig.
As a company, we’ve scaled down our services pretty dramatically. Ricky will be focusing on his new role at iD and Elizabeth will be maintaining some of our current clients. For new projects, please contact us and we can let you know a reasonable time frame, if we’re able to handle it. We are limited in our additional time though.

We’re excited to announce the birth of my son Joshua Isaac Bennett! He’s quite the looker. (Must be the genes.)
So, I do monthly updates (I didn’t design this site, don’t want to steal credit) for a Mom & Baby Boutique in Gilbert, AZ called Chicky Bella. Lisa & Josh have a lot of cool stuff, but I have to admit this product that I just uploaded is brilliant. It’s called a “Tie Chair” and it basically converts any dining chair into a high chair. There are ZERO buckles or those really annoying backpack-strap-tighteners…am I the only one that hates those things?

So, I understand when people have small budgets…it makes total sense, things are tight. Don’t take your 20 hours of “design” or “copywriting” and call it an “internship”. The PRIMARY purpose of an internship is for the student LEARN something. Not for a company to get FREE LABOR. Sure, that is a benefit, but it isn’t the reason you have an intern. Okay, that’s all.

Everyone should add on the Personas function to your Firefox browser…and then go to “Causes” and select this cool little skin designed for Bound4Life…using the images from their site. All the cool kids named Ricky are doing it. (And 4 other people in a number of days!)
