We are super excited about working with our new pal Kim Fisher (no, not the one from Memphis).  Kim owns an accoutrements emporium in Gilbert, AZ called Polka Dot Moon.  If you’d like a moment to look those words up…go ahead…but we’ll go ahead and tell you what that means: “freakin’ cool invitations and gifts”.  She’s got this neat place where you can make all kinds of custom invitations and stationary for every event you could ever imagine.

So, we’re working on a design package for her that includes a fresh logo, new ads and eventually a new site.  Here’s her super sweet logo:

So, I set aside a couple days to revamp the splat site before the holiday photo rush.  (We’re actually doing a little newspaper advertising!  Pray for lots of exposure!)
I ran across a little game.  “Wikipedia Band Generator”  Here’s how it goes…

Go to wikipedia.org.  Click on “English”.  Then on the left side click “Random Article.” The title of that page is your band name.  Hit “random article” again…that’s your album name.  Hit “random article” 10 more times for your track names.  If you’re feeling a little crazy…go to flickr.com and hit “Explore”.  There’s your cover art.  Fun times.

So, I had someone refer a wonderful lady named “Glo” to me recently.  Glo doesn’t have internet access, doesn’t have email, doesn’t really want any of that to be honest.  She realized that she needed a web presence for her 3 businesses though.  So, we hooked up her and her husband (both from a generation much grander than my own) with their very own 1-page site.

While it took about 4.8 seconds to get the page together, it was definitely interesting having to print off the page as I built it and mail it to her for approval.  Here’s to Paul and Glo and their little page!

Here’s a not so great ultrasound photo.  We go again on the 28th to try and get better shots.  He’s facing down and backwards, which makes it easy for determining gender, but difficult to look at the face and such.  We’ll put the new ones up, too.
